The theme for VBS 2006 was "The Gospel Express". Classes were held June 25-30 with a closing picnic and program on Friday night. Fun, games, music and stories about Jesus' love and forgiveness were highlights of the week.
Pastor Eric helped lead the openings and closings each night as our conductor.

The Adult Class focused on the topic of "Growing In God's Grace" with Mrs. Heather.
Adults enjoyed arts and crafts, too, creating their own watering can cut outs and making tissue paper flowers.
The Gospel Express (???) offered rides to children before Friday night's closing program.

Diapers, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, toothbrushes and toothpaste were collected by VBS students during the week. These items will be distributed by Grace Youth attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in San Antonio, TX in mid-July. Monetary donations were also received.
