2007 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PHOTOS

Young and old alike dove deep into God's Word as the Great Bible Reef VBS Adventure was held at Grace July 8-13!  More than 140 children, youth, and adults enjoyed exciting stories of Jesus, cool crafts, and catchy tunes during the week-long growing-in-faith experience! Daily emphases for the week were God's People Care, God's People Help, God's People Trust, God's People Believe, and God's People Listen. Thanks to VBS director Kelly Whitlock and all of the volunteer teachers, assistants, drivers, meal preparers, etc. who made this week possible.

Story time with creative storytellers Mrs. Catherine and Mrs. Sharon was lots of fun.

Director Mrs. Kelly helps enact the story of Jesus helping the Blind Man during storytime.

Game time with Mrs. Lee was exciting. Here the Preschool Class gets ready to play games with a parachute.

Our Nursery Class had a great time too.

The Special Needs Class enjoys music time with Mrs. Wendy, Mr. Michael, Mr. Mike and Pastor Eric. Folks from local group homes and the Lowman Home joined us for the week.

Arts and Crafts time offered opportunities for creativity with ocean-themed crafts.

"Do you like the crab I made?"

Adult Class project for the week was making new Chrismons to supplement and replace the congregation's aging tree ornaments.

A sample of the Adult class' creativity in making the replacement Chrismons.

Offerings for the week were to benefit the teachers' college in Tanzania.

A large group of children and youth participated in the closing program on Friday night.

These bright smiling faces tell the tale:  VBS 2007 was a blast!  Can't wait until next year!
