Pastor Eric has been Grace's spiritual leader since 1994. A native of Faith, NC, he is a 1984 graduate of Davidson College and 1994 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (M. Div.) Prior to seminary, he received his graduate degree in mathematics from the University of Virginia, teaching at Wake Forest University and leading a Summer Adventures program for the NC School of Science and Math. He is a former summer staff member at Lutheridge, where he directed the camp's youth wilderness programs and special program for developmentally-disabled adults. Pastor Eric is active in the Prosperity community and in the church at-large, currently serving as Dean of the SC Synod's Heartland Conference. He has been a two-term board member for Lutheran Family Services of the Carolinas and served as pastoral advisor for SC Lutheran Men in Mission. Locally, he is active in the Mid-Carolina Ministerial Association and the Newberry Interfaith Community Services. He serves as a member of the Newberry County First Steps Board and coordinates the Mid-Carolina Middle School release-time Bible class and High School baccalaureate service.

Julie Shealy is our office secretary and a member of Grace congregation. Her normal office hours at Grace are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and worked for state government for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mother to twins. After the twins entered kindergarten, she worked for Grace Christian Preschool as a teacher's aide and later became a substitute at Little Mountain Elementary. She is married to Dale Shealy, who retired from the Prosperity Post Office in 2010 and now drives the "Drug Bug" for Prosperity Drug. Their oldest son, Christopher, is a teacher for the Grace Afterschool Ministry and serves as Choir Director at Colony Lutheran Church in Newberry.
G.W. COOPER - CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS ADMINISTRATOR
George W. Cooper - better known by his nickname "Chop" - serves as administrator of Grace Christian Schools, handling all administrative responsibilities. He retired after teaching 30 years in Batesburg-Leesville schools. He has served on the Christian School Board since its inception and is a member of Grace congregation.He is married to Teresa Cooper, and they have two grown daughters and four grandchildren - two of whom are "graduates" of Grace Preschool.

Sarah Eargle is director of Grace Christian Preschool and responsible for all Preschool operations. She is also lead teacher for one of the 3-year-old classes. Sarah has been a member of our Preschool staff for four years. She is an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Prosperity and the daughter of retired Lutheran minister, the Rev. Pierce Evans. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a masters from USC. She is married to David Eargle, and both of their children are "graduates" from the Preschool program at Grace.
EDDIE RIVERS - CHOIRMASTER & ORGANIST
Eddie Rivers is our choirmaster and organist and provides music for worship services. He leads the Adult Choir and is a member of Grace. In addition, he serves as organist at Wightman United Methodist in Prosperity. Eddie earned a B.A. degree in French from Newberry
College and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of South Carolina.
He taught French at Ninety Six High School for seven years and was
Director of Guidance for another 23 years. He is retired from
the school system. He currently resides in Prosperity with his wife Marysue. They have a
daughter, Suzanne, who is married to Jeremy, and two grandchildren.
CRAIG FARR - GROUNDSKEEPER
Craig Farr is our groundskeeper and a member of Grace. He and his wife Lisa have two children - one at Mid-Carolina Middle and one at Mid-Carolina High.
TIM HARMON - CUSTODIAN
Tim Harmon provides custodial services for the church and parish building. Tim grew up in Grace congregation and remains a member of his home church. He is married to Lagina Harmon, and they have two daughters.
