PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION CONTINUES FOR 2010-11

Grace Christian Preschool continues to accept applications for the 2010-11 year.  Enroll now to reserve your child's place as some classes are filling up fast. Registration packets are available in the church office. See Administrator Chop Cooper or Preschool Director Sarah Eargle for more information. 

AFTERSCHOOL MINISTRY SUSPENDED FOR 2010-11

In May, the Christian Schools Board made the difficult decision to suspend the Afterschool Ministry for the 2010-11 school year as we have not received enough afterschool applications to cover costs for the coming year. Three factors have influenced enrollment: (1) school re-districting; (2) public schools offering afterschool programs; and (3) economic factors leading parents to seek relatives/friends to keep their children.  We are maintaining a list of interested families, and if enough students materialize during this summer (or future years) we will do everything we can to offer Afterschool. Grace is the only faith-based afterschool program available. If you know of someone who may be interested for their child, contact Director Chop Cooper at 364-3330 as soon as possible.

Volunteer tutors are always needed. Call Chop Cooper or Pastor Eric if you are interested in being a part of this important ministry. Tutoring Ministry for needy first-graders from Prosperity-Rikard Elementary meets from 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Wednesday that school is in session during the school year, except for early-release days that fall on Wednesdays.
