Vacation Bible School 2010, Baobab Blast: God's Great Get-Together began Sunday, July 11 and ended Friday, July 16 with a hot dog cookout and closing program. Special thanks to director Kelly Whitlock and all of the volunteers who made the week a faith-growing event! (photos by Tara Stewart)
He came to VBS with a zebra on his head. "I'm Zechariah Zebra." is what the Pastor said.
The children weren't too sure about that thing up on his head, but soon they all realized there was nothing to dread.
Game time would bring running and jumping, too. Could there be even more fun things to do?
There were arts and crafts with some great projects, too.
Could all of this VBS summer fun be true?
Then there was singing with Mrs. Candy and friends. Must VBS always come to an end?
Special friends made VBS week quite a treasure.
Having them all with us is truly a pleasure.
Even WMHK radio paid us a call. "God made each one of you special," they said to us all.
Our smiles tell of our great time at the Baobob Blast. It's really hard to believe it's part of the past.
Great job, Mrs. Kelly and all the volunteers. Can't wait to see you again next year!
Heather Harris led the Adult Class on what to do when the bottom drops out of your life or your chair. Craft project for the week was weaving a seat for an old chair out of fabric remnants. (photos by Heather Harris)
